See what awaits you in the Medieval Technology Park and Mining Open-Air Museum!

Treadwheel

A massive structure several meters in diameter, powered solely by the strength of human legs. When you step inside and start walking – the whole machine starts working. This is how water was pumped out of mines in the Middle Ages!

Hand hoist

A machine based on the principle of pulley-and-block gearing. It will allow you to lift a weight several dozen times greater than what you can lift yourself!

Stamp crushers and smelter

See how ore was crushed and prepared for further processing. All powered by water, without electricity, but with enormous noise and force.

Live physics lesson

In the Settlement you'll understand how mechanical energy, pressure, friction and gravity work – live, by touching, turning and rotating. It's hands-on physics!\n

Path of Fear

Enter the mysterious labyrinth, where a spinning tunnel, light and sound effects, and… surprises await! A fun experience full of laughter and a little thrill.

Executioner's Hut

Meet the executioner host, who will talk about his profession with humor and a wink. Find out how he "treats" headaches and what he uses to make scrambled eggs!

Goats - Arsen and Złota

The little residents of the Settlement whom you can't help but love. Children can feed, pet and photograph them.

Leonardo da Vinci's inventions

Replicas of the Renaissance master's constructions that show how forward-thinking people were already in the Middle Ages.
